The magnetic shimmer tends to look bluer when magnetized and more purple when not, which is cool! I photographed it both ways. It does have a little bit of texture but a single layer of top coat smooths it. Fast dry time and good formula and I wore it in two thin coats. I wore it in two thin coats, but one careful coat might cover. It needs top coat for shine. This polish can be purchased with or without a bar magnet. Nice quick, dry time. The inspiration is Smaug from the Hobbit. It indeed has that firey, shifty look! There is a new collaboration coming up between two of my favorite brands! Rogue Lacquer  and Tonic Nail Polish  have joined forces to create a quarterly quartet based off a set color palette. The inaugural Polish Palette July 2018  takes its inspiration from a desert-like set of hues and each shade is named after a famous desert.
