Cupcake Polish Radioactive Collection Swatches and Review Part 2

Image
I am back with the second half of Cupcake Polish's Radioactive Collection , which releases on Monday, August 13 at 8PM CDT , along with a pastel thermal trio. These polishes have super-vibrant effects and are dazzling in all types of lighting. You can fine the first half of my review here . More after the break... *sent by the maker for photography and review* Cupcake Polish Gamma  is a bright fuchsia jelly with blue-to-magenta duochrome shimmer and iridescent flakes.  I wore it in three thin coats, but two will do. The flakes will smooth out with a single layer of top coat. Cupcake Polish Half Life  is an ocean blue jelly with green-to-indigo duochrome shimmer and iridescent flakes. I also wore this in three thin coats, but two will cover. It has a quick drying formula and smooths with top coat. Cupcake Polish Nuclear  is a forest green jelly with red-to-green multichrome shimmer and iridescent glitters. I also wore this in three thin coats, but two are enough for most. The glitte...

Cupcake Polish Radioactive Collection Swatches and Review Part 1

Image
Cupcake Polish has two new releases coming this Monday, August 13 . I have the Radioactive Collection  to show you and the other is a trio of pastel thermals called the Ice Cream Trio . The Radioactive Collection  takes shimmery and glowing to a whole new level with amazing effect pigments. These will be available at 8PM CDT  and each is priced at $13 . Let's get started with half the collection today! *sent by the maker for photography and review* Cupcake Polish Atomic  is a royal purple jelly with magenta-to-green multichrome iridescent flakes. This one has a ton of reflectivity and shift. I wore it in three thin coats for maximum depth and it had a good dry time. A single layer of top coat will smooth it. Cupcake Polish Beta  is a steel gray linear holo with multichrome iridescent flakes. This has about as holo a punch as you can get and due to the flakes, does not disappoint in the shade, either! I love polishes that have equal amounts of sparkle in different light. I wore it i...

Cupcake Polish 5th Anniversary Trio Swatches and Review

I got into indie polish in 2012 and a lot of brands have come and gone, but Cupcake Polish  is celebrating five years with the 5th Anniversary Trio!  I have been a customer since the very beginning in 2013 and have a ton of the brand's holos and shimmers. As you may have noticed, the logo of Cupcake  is pink, and it makes sense that all three polishes in the Trio have bright pink elements in them. In addition to these three sparkly shades, there will also be a massive sale. You can get 30% off the store (including new shades) with code 5YEARS  from 12AM CDT July 1 until 11:59PM CDT on July 5. Enough of the details, let's look at some polish! *sent by the maker for photography and review* Cupcake Polish 5 Years  is a neon pink with scattered holo shimmer, blue-to-pink duochrome shimmer and microflakes, and pink holo microglitters. I wore it in three thin coats, but two will do. It has a great dry time and I wore it with top coat for smoothness. The shimmer in this shade is amaz...
