Lollipop Posse September 2018 Year of Tarot and Monthly Limited Edition Swatches and Review

Lollipop Posse Lacquer launched her September polishes last month including a new Which Witch Collection (look for my post tomorrow!) and the September Year of Tarot and Monthly Limited Edition. I have the latter two to show you today! The limited polish is a single batch and the Tarot shade is available as a preorder through Friday.

Lollipop Posse September 2018 Year of Tarot and Monthly Limited Edition

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Death is the Year of Tarot shade. It is a green-to-purple multichrome shimmer with silver holo shred microglitters, purple holo microglitters and holo shimmer. I wore it in three thin coats and it had a good formula. It has a bit of texture when dry and needs top coat to smooth.

Don’t be alarmed! If you draw the card of Death, it is not always as you think; on the contrary, it can be one of the most fruitful and positive cards in the deck! Death is symbolic of the ending of a major phase in your life that may bring about the beginning of something far more valuable and important. You must close one door in order to open another. It may be difficult to let go of the past, but you will soon see how important it is so that you can bring renewal and transformation into your life.

Price: $12

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Fallen Woman in Dancing Costume is the single pour limited edition. It is a muted ruby red with holo shimmer, bronze microflakes, and green-to-red multichrome shimmer. I wore it in two thin coats and it had a nice, quick-drying formula.

“Filthy tight, the dress is filthy
I'm falling flat and my arms are empty
Clear the way, better get it out of this room
A fallen woman in dancing costume” -PJ Harvey, “Dress”
Fallen Woman in Dancing Costume is a dusky, muted cherry red, perhaps the color of the dress PJ Harvey refers to in the beginning of the song: “Put on that dress/I’m going out dancing/Starting off red/Clean and sparkling, he’ll see me”.
Price: $10

Both of these polishes are available now and stay tuned for my next post, a review of the Lollipop Posse Lacquer Which Witch Collection! Both of these series are so much fun and feature such creative inspiration. I particularly love the red of the limited edition shade this month!
